The body has its own energy systems that are functioning in the background of our daily lives. These energies can become imbalanced, stagnant and even blocked due to different stressors in our lives which can be physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. Kinesiology is a very powerful yet gentle energy healing modality. It is the science of restoring the flow of the body's own natural energies which activates and maximizes its own innate healing. It is rooted in anatomy and physiology, using the art of muscle testing to identify stress and imbalances in the body and provide feedback on our overall health and well being. We can access memories that are stored in our subconscious, where we create self limiting beliefs and programming that keeps us stuck and actually is running the show in the background. Kinesiology makes the subconscious conscious and allows us to re-program so we can move forward in our power leaving those programmes and beliefs behind. The body expresses what the mind suppresses.

Beginning with an initial discussion, a goal is set for the session. The practitioner uses muscle testing to assess your body’s responses to specific questions or stimuli. This helps identify areas of imbalance or stress which are then balanced and released through awareness therapy, essential oils, nutrition/supplements, essences, acupuncture points, working with meridians, using finger modes to identify different techniques the body needs to return to a state of harmony and many many more.

Sound healing is a therapeutic practice that uses sound vibrations to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Sound therapy works on the principle that everything in the universe vibrates at a certain frequency, including our bodies. Our emotions are tied to specific vibrational frequencies. The body’s cells and systems are constantly vibrating and adjusting in response to internal and external stimuli. Our thoughts and mental states have a vibrational quality as well as our environment and interactions with others also affects our vibration. We are in a constant state of vibration. This ongoing vibrational activity influences how we interact with and respond to our daily experiences. By using sound waves with specific frequencies through different instruments, sound therapy aims to influence these vibrations and restore balance.Instruments used in my session include Tibetan singing bowls, storm drum, rain stick, tuning forks and more.

We will begin by discussing your intentions and any specific areas you would like to focus on. A chakra reading will help identify any imbalances or blockages that need attention. You will then lie down comfortably with an eye mask if this feels comfortable for you and receive the healing of the sound. At the end of the session we will discuss any insights or sensations that may have arisen.

How do I prepare myself for an energy healing session?

Wear Comfortable Clothing: Choose loose, breathable clothes that allow for ease of movement and relaxation.
Set Intentions: Reflect on what you hope to achieve from the session. Setting a clear intention helps guide the healing process.
Avoid Stimulants: Minimize caffeine or other stimulants beforehand, as they can interfere with relaxation and energy flow.

How will I feel after a kinesiology/yoga/sound healing session?
Depending on your session, you may experience a range of feelings, including:
Increased Energy: Many people feel revitalized and more energetic, as blockages are cleared and energy flows more freely.
Emotional Release: It's common to feel more emotional—this can manifest as relief, sadness, or even joy—as you process and release stored emotions.
Clarity and Awareness: You might notice heightened clarity of thought and awareness of your feelings and needs.
Fatigue: Some may feel tired as the body begins to integrate the changes. This is a normal part of the healing process.
Lightness: A sense of lightness or ease in the body can occur, as tension is released and balance is restored.
Physical Sensations: You may experience physical sensations like warmth, tingling, or relaxation in areas that were previously tense.
Everyone's experience is unique, so it's important to honour how you feel and allow yourself time to process the session.

Follow Recommendations: If your practitioner provided any specific exercises, meditations, or self-care tips, try to incorporate those into your routine.
Be Patient: Allow time for your body to process the changes. Some effects may unfold over the following days.
